FIVE YEARS OLD!!!

It can't be possible. My BABY is now FIVE!! I love watching him learn and grow and develop into a little person. He's so kind hearted and I really hope the world doesn't change that.

He picks flowers and gives them to me and Grandma. He holds open doors. He tells me or Scott when something we say or do is "not nice". He cheers on other people to win when he's competing against them. He claims that he isn't the only one on his team that's the best (after I told him he was)...he stated that two other boys were the best too. It's hard to explain...the kid is just good, to the core. He has a better moral compass than I do...

My mom had a balloon from her birthday in January that was still floating around their house. For one of our get togethers the kids were playing with it. I had only seen Presley with it so at the end of the night my mom said "Aww my balloon is finally deflated...". I said "Yea, Presley was playing with it...it's lasted long enough". At this time Boston had walked past me, out the door. When I reached the door he was coming back in and he said "I need to tell Grandma something". I just thought...ok, whatever.

When he finally came back out he told me "....I told Grandma that I broke the balloon..."

...OMG! What 4 year old does that?! What 4 year old would even THINK about that?! My mom was crying.

Anyways, we had his birthday party on Sunday at our house. I invited his class and I think about 8 kids showed up? Well, Presley, Piper, Landen, Owen, Owen, Bryson, Austin, Jack, and Max. So 9. Four from his school, two older brothers, Jack Fisher, and the girls :)

It was Avengers themed and like every other year I have to kill myself to make the cake/cookies/cake pops for him. Once a year, I'll sacrifice :) ....

Cut but uncooked :) I love the cookie cutters I bought!
 All completed!!!
His "cake"

"Thor Hammers" the pretzels got instantly stale when I brought them outside because of the humidity but they were popular. I was also going to make "Hulk Punch" punch but changed my mind, the kids had water and juice boxes and the grown ups had pop and beer. :)

Annnnnnnnnd this is what happens when 8-9 young children are left unattended in the bedroom for just a few minutes. Eeek!!!

It was a great day though. A lot of work but worth it. It was the first time that the boys outnumbered the girls!! Boston had a great time and got a lot of great presents! After looking at this picture I think we might have to donate a few older ones....
