I Am Sam: Back At It

Went back to work this week. It wasn't too bad. Leaving Boston wasn't too bad either since he's going to my Mom. I didn't think it was all that bad until I got home Monday night and he was sleeping. And he slept all night. Which means I didn't really get to spend time with him. That sucked. He slept through the night for the first time on Wednesday night, so that was exciting.

We went to the pumpkin patch a couple weeks ago. Boston slept the whole time. We met Jessica, Steve and Presley out there. Presley is such a goofball! Gotta love her. We tried sitting him against the pumpkins but he slouched over, sound asleep.

Other than me going back to work and going to the pumpkin patch we haven't really done much. Jon got a job at Sears Holdings, or whatever. He starts Monday so we're super excited! Now I just need to get a better paying job and we'll be set. Don't get me wrong, I love my job. It's just not enough. If it paid better, like $3/hour better, then I'd stay. Some of those kids I'd have a hard time leaving behind. One boy who, I'm pretty sure, is Autistic; he's amazing. I missed him a lot while I was on maternity leave. His parents have gotten him speech therapy and I guess the therapist might have mentioned something about Autism to his parents. Which, the sooner he gets help for it, the better it will be for him.

My life is generally boring. I spend a lot of time at my parents. I rock. Whatever, I don't really care that much. I'm over the drinking myself stupid phase and some of my 'friends' have gotten too busy and all that junk. I think I need to make a point to go out without Boston or Jon, with some girls and do whatever.
