Loooong Time

So, I haven't written in a while. We no longer have internet at our apartment so its hard. A lot has happened since the last time...

We have a new baby!!!

Boston Tucker Brown

8 lbs. 15 oz.

20.25 inches long

14 inch head, 14.5 inch chest.

Big boy! I ended up having to have a c-section which upset me quite a bit. I'm not really even sure why. I guess I just had it in my mind that I was going to have him naturally. BUT, after 27 hours of labor, they told me it had to be that way. By that point I was numb so the spinal tap thing they had to give me to do the c-section didn't phase me and made me SUPER numb. It was pretty sweet. Felt really weird, but it was cool.

These are from the day we got to go home. Jon is a much better photographer than I am, that's why my picture is cool and his is just a picture.

It's been a little over 5 weeks now. At 1 month Boston was 11 lbs. So far he's really had no problems. Thrush, but we caught it early (because we're that good), so he's all better now. He's sleepin' pretty good at night. About every 4 hours or so. He smiled at 1 month. Super cute smile. So far who he looks like has been mixed. Some say me, some say Jon. He definitely looks like his big sister, Madison, though.

He's a very well behaved baby. No major crying fits or anything. I think I'll keep him...
