As usual, my life is boring. I did go bowling with some friends a couple weeks ago...last week? I can't remember when it was. It was a great time though. We ended up going out to eat first, which I wasn't really wanting to because I didn't have any money. We went to Mimi's Cafe out by Jordan Creek. Then we went clear back to like...the southside to bowl. It was me, Erin, Twito (anna), and Erin's gay guy friend...I can't remember his name. Shoot! I had a lot of fun though. And I had the best score of anyone.
Apparently now they play music videos on the TVs above your lane and you can go to the desk and request songs. There was a super stupid song that played "Whip Yo Hair" or some crap like that. Erin and her friend swore it was Will Smiths daughter, Willow. I kept saying "there's no way he'd let his daughter do something so stupid!" Yea, it ended up being her! I couldn't believe it. I remembered going to the bowling alley a lot when I was going to Grand View. They had their bowling nights there every week. Now that I think back on it though, I never actually bowled. I just drank.
Anyways, Boston has been doing great! Sleeping through the night every night since he turned 2 months. He sleeps a lot actually. I never wanna wake him up. I feel bad though, if he falls asleep in his carseat. Do ya move him? or leave him? I usually leave him and get some things done and then wake him up when I'm ready. Haha
Jon and I went on a date night this Friday. We haven't been out together for a long time. He kept asking for it but I just didn't think we had the money for it. He finally got paid from his job and I got my first two week check from being back at work. So we're doing alright now. I just gotta find another job so I can get to paying my parents back for all the money they loaned me while I was on maternity leave. Thank God for my amazing parents!!
My mom was nice enough to watch Boston Friday night while we went out. We went and saw RED. It was really good, really funny. It was good to go out by ourselves but I felt bad because I hadn't seen Boston alllll day. It bothered me. But I know he's in great hands with Grandma Becky. :)
I have a phone interview with NCMIC tomorrow. That's where my sister, Holly works. It's a great company according to her and they have great benefits, which is what I really need. I gotta get myself and Boston off of this Medicaid crap! I hate getting assistance from the government. Hopefully everything goes well and I can get the job though.
I'm starting to get in the holiday spirit. I really just wanna go shopping, I guess. I know a lot of things that I want for Christmas but I feel guilty asking because I've already been given so much throughout the past few months.
Hopefully the next time I write I will have more exciting news.
