Gotta Catch Up

I'm juuuuuust a little bit behind on posting, as I'm sure you can tell. After we went to Fargo for the Christmas with Jon's family we came home and celebrated ours. I just added this picture because I think its the cutest damn thing I've ever seen!
Holly had her 30th Birthday week this year. She had a big party at Racoon River Brewing Company. It was great, she looked great. Wish we could've stayed later but since we don't drink and Boston was already out cold at about 8:30 we decided just to head home. Happy Birthday Holly! (Like I said, I'm a little behind)

Our family is big on tradition. Lord forbid we do something different or just don't do something that we have done every year of our lives. Decorating cookies is one of those things. As teenagers, we all hated it, thought it was dorky to sit at home and decorate Christmas cookies 'for Santa' when we all know damn well Santa doesn't exist. Lame. Now, as adults its a must. I want to continue doing this for years to come. If at some point we stop doing it with my parents I will make sure that there is still an opportunity for Boston to. It is these traditions that bring families closer and I think our family is all the better for them.

Here is Uncle Steve with Boston. I think he's almost unsure what to do with a baby that isn't crying its head off :) I know, totally unfair that I got the well behaved baby.
Presley had fun decorating...ok, eating the cookies. Mainly the sprinkles actually. Got a little messy but its all in good fun.
Here is Boston's first Christmas cookie. I put the white on but he held the knife as the orange frosting dripped. Then I topped it off with some sprinkles. He tried to hold the sprinkle container but he dropped it on top of the cookie so I took over. Its beautiful!
I believe this is Christmas Eve. He's got his 'model eyes' going. Looks like he's posing for a magazine photo shoot or something with that look on his face.
Christmas Day! Yay! P and B in their Christmas garb. I don't care that they're looking at different people, they're both smiling and its super cute!
Presley decided to throw a bit of a fit. No even sure now what it was about but it was funny. She's gonna hate this picture when she gets older.
Boston got a lil tool bench that he really likes. The spinny car thing Jon an I got him kinda scares him still. Once he can sit up by himself a little better I'm sure he'll love it.
Awesome picture with Grandpa...
Christmas was great. I got a lot of things that I wanted and so did Boston. Jon got some Broncos stuff, some stuff to clean his car and a Smokey D's gift card. Yum.
