Really Gotta Catch Up

So, I realized after going through my blogs that I've missed a lot. So I'm going to start with May.

May 2nd, I-Cubs!

Boston and I joined my cousin Kelly and some other people she knew at the I-Cubs game. Boston's first baseball game! It was a lil chilly but he didn't mind. Cub E. Bear tried to give him a 5 but his big paws scared Boston a little...

May 7th, Tulip Time...

Jon had to work on Mother's Day so this is what we did in celebration of it. Tulip Time! We followed Jessica, Steve and Presley out to Pella and checked out this beautiful event. Boston either has bad allergies or I got sunscreen in his eyes because they were watering the whole time. Yet, he was still a very good little man!

May 8th, Mother's Day...

We went to the I-Cubs game with the family. It was a great day to be at a ball game. Nice first Mother's Day for me.

As I wrote in my last entry, May 25th...my Grandma Dorothy passed away. So, we spent Memorial Day weekend traveling to and from Texas. Although it was a short weekend I was glad that my extended family finally got to meet Boston. My Grandpa, Boston's Great-Grandpa (obviously) got to meet his great-grandson. Now, my Grandpa has Alzheimers and couldn't even remember who I was let alone understand who Boston was to him. There were pictures taken of the two of them but I have yet to acquire them (gotta look into that). I'll post it when I get one. Got it!

That was pretty much it for May. I'll write about June next...
