Last Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 my Grandma passed away. Grandma Dorothy, Dirty Dort...and many other names to many other people. She was 80 years old, the following pictures are from her 80th birthday, last year. She had been struggling for a while so I guess its good that she is no longer in pain. Her mind had gone but she was still spunky as ever and looooooved to dance. Especially loved dancing with the man she was married to, Grandpa Don.
My Aunt Ann has been the most amazing person over the past couple years. Taking care of both Grandma and Grandpa when they became less and less capable of taking care of themselves.
She was having a great time. Unfortunately, we couldn't be there but a lot of other family members made it. Here she is with my Uncle David, her 4th child.
Her baby boy, Uncle Danny. Even at 80 she was the life of the party and loved every minute of it.

She will be greatly missed. Next year for our family reunion that we have every two years, we are going back to Texas. Surfside, to be exact, but it wont be the same with out her there. While we're there we will be spreading her ashes on the beach because that it where she would love to be forever. We all love you Grandma! RIP
