Gotta Get Better At This

Once again its been FOREVER since I've written. Lots has happened and once again I'll be remembering all the things through pictures we've taken lol I'm horrible!

I'll start with the fact that Boston is 9 days away from being 1 year old...this makes me very sad. My angelic lil baby boy is...well, still pretty angelic but much less easier to satisfy. Wiggly, giggly, squirmy, lil worm! For whatever reason he will not let me change his diaper anymore, fun stuff. Grandma LOOOVES having his lil naked butt all over her carpet! hehehe They have new diapers that are pretty much Pull-Ups but I think I would have a hard time gettin' those on too! Not worth it. He knows what a cow, dog, elephant, and lion say. He shrugs his shoulders when you say 'I dunno'. Says 'aaahhh' after he or someone takes a drink. Dances like a total goober! Will 'say' and motion TOUCHDOWN! And just today while trying to teach him the sign for 'all done' he flipped his hands over and did the same thing I did. It was VERY cute! There is nothing I wouldn't do for that boy and even though I get to see him every day I feel like its not enough. I could spend all day with him. That oh-so-charming personality just makes even the shitty days go away. Coming home to him is all I need...

Now, while his birthday isn't until the 31st we already had his party on the 14th. My Aunts, Ann and Ellen were coming to town and Jon's parents as well as Madison were able to come down for the party. I stressed out about the whole thing for the longest time and thought I was going to looooooose my mind! I had decided in like...May practically, that I wanted to do a ducky cake that I found online and everything was going to be duckies. Well, I'm not a baker...not even really a cook...er (thinking that if its bakER it should be cookER...but whatever). I was also stressed about Jon's parents and Madison coming because...awkward! And I didn't know how Jon was going to take care of Madison while she was here because (if I had kept up on this damn thing you'd know) he lost his job at Sears. But, being the big hearted, selfless person that I am (wink, wink), I offered to help out as much as I could while Madison was here because I firmly believe that she needs to spend the time with her daddy that she's supposed to. But, I'll come back to all that eventually...I'm gettin' off track...

So, Boston's cake...

This was no cut-out, 2D, simple cake. OOOOH NO! That bad boy was 3D! Pictures do a better job than I do....

Fresh out of the pan
Starting the icing...
Eeets a duck! Cute huh?
Then we added the 'water' which was blue colored almond bark
Then added the 'bubbles' Oreos covered in almond bark (yummy!)
Pretty friggin' cool huh?! Hehe Here's the whole setup...
I cut off the head of the duck for Boston to blow out the candle and eat (destroy). Might have been a little sadistic, but whatever....
Unfortunately, Boston didn't like it...
But he thought the dog might...

My Angel Boy is getting too big, growing too fast...but I can't wait for all the adventures to come...
I Love You Boston Tucker! You Are My World
