I Am Sam: Rawr!

Once again, I've been slacking on writing on here. Last time I wrote I had just started my new-ish job. It's been 3 weeks now and its still going well. Both the Store Manager and other Assistant Manager were gone this week so it was...pretty much, MY STORE. Kinda stressful going from part time $10+ an hour to full time STORE MANAGER (sort of) in a matter of 3 weeks. But, everything was juuuuuust fine.

Lets see nothing much has happened on my end.

My mom fell down the stairs last Tuesday night. Scared the crap outta me! I thought she was just tossing an empty laundry basket down the stairs like we always do and I thought to myself "WTF?! Doesn't she realize Boston and my Dad are sleeping?!" But then I heard and "Uummph", threw down my computer and ran down the stairs so fast I'm surprised I didn't fall! She hit her head pretty good and scraped up and bruised her leg. She laid on the floor for quite a while. My dad heard it all too and came down to help. She said she was dizzy and felt sick to her stomach so she laid there for a while. We kept trying to get her to sit up but every time she did she felt dizzy again. She managed to get up into a chair for a bit but then felt sick and had to throw up...well, throwing up hurt her so bad she dropped to the floor in pain. We ended up having to call the paramedics because she didn't think she could make it upstairs and that's really all she wanted. To be safe and comfy on her couch.So, they came and checked her out and helped her up the stairs, even tho by that time she felt better and managed to pretty much walk up the stairs by herself. Pretty bad shape tho.

Needless to say, babysitter for Wednesday was needed. Jessica and I shared the day for babysitting. Worked out well. Still needed someone for Thursday and all this week. I was luckily able to get the day off Thursday and Jon was nice enough (even though its what he should do anyways) to take Boston on Saturday and Sunday. The woman that watched me when I was in Kindergarten still does day care and she lives just down the street so I asked her if she could watch B. She watched him Tues, Wed and will be tomorrow too. My sister, Holly, is prolly the awesomest sister ever...she was cool enough to pick Boston up from her house both day and bring him home and put him to bed because I had to close both days. Luckily, I open tomorrow so I can put him to bed.

My family rocks.

Jon went to Fargo a couple weeks ago to send the weekend with Madison. She had a soccer game and Jon got some pretty good pics of her playin'...
